ABOUT

My name is Hope and i am a proud Biripi Woman and a decendant of the Saunders Family on the Mid North Coast. I am a fully qualified HSIE and Aboriginal Studies  Teacher and also have a Masters of Indigenous languages Degree. I have been working in the NSW and QLD Education systems for over 25 years and have a vast experience in working with children and schools to create​ educational resources with Indigenous Perspectives.

Wathu Mitji Designs meaning Little Possum Designs. The Possum is my totem.

I also create Aboriginal Arts and Crafts for Schools and Daycare Centres and the general public.
